Does decorating and / or restoring a facade with natural and ecological products increasingly represent? a problem. The loss of professionalism? and the lack of operators capable of applying the old restoration techniques have gradually made it impossible to use traditional materials. PAULIN SpA with ready-to-use products using the Lime Line has made it possible to create old traditions with new technologies. Lime based paints and coatings with their characteristics of resistance, breathability, sobriety? and versatility, represent the natural response to the needs of restoration and decoration of historic buildings. In the presence of moisture? the reaction of lime putty with l’ carbon dioxide of the 26-rsquo; air favors the formation of calcium carbonate crystals which create a natural link between the support (plaster) and the paint (or coating). Main features of the lime based products: Very high breathability, resistant over time, color variations, antiqued effects. Suitable substrates for lime-based mineral products: lime-based civil plasters, lime-cement bastard-mortar plasters, possibly homogeneous, absorbent, free of paint, possibly humidified before the 26-rsquo; application.
