Home - Issues and Solutions - Outdoor Solutions - How to protect a facade with water-repellent and breathable products
Painting or covering a building that is very exposed to atmospheric agents or in particularly unfavorable microclimatic conditions. Critical situations: buildings without eaves or eaves, by the sea, industrial areas, in windy areas, structures with residual humidity. Thanks to their characteristics of water repellency and breathability, products based on siloxane resins answer the most frequently asked questions by designers. They have a very high diffusion to water vapor, are resistant over time to industrial atmospheric aggressions, exceptional meteoric protection, resistant to marine cycles. Very low dirt pick-up, resistant to freeze and thaw cycles, resistant to UV rays / color stability.
Smooth finishes for smooth or civil plasters

6. If the fund è slightly irregular, for a better aesthetic finish, apply a coat of SEVEN elastosiloxane uniforming primer for exteriors, if very irregular, smooth with LAMPOCIVIL R632 universal white smoothing compound with civil finish and leave to cure for 10 days.
7. Apply a suitably diluted coat of PRIMER S siloxane primer over the entire surface and wait 12 hours.
8. Apply by brush or roller two coats of micro-coating for exteriors, transpiring, water-repellent, based on siloxanes, lightfast pigments, quartz and micronized carbonates, SILOX FINISH.
9. Alternatively, apply SANOFINISH diffusive siloxane finish, anti-mold and anti-algae, or SANOFILL acryl-siloxane finish with high filling anti-mold and anti-algae.
