How to antique a painting or coating of a homogeneous color with a siloxane glaze?

For smooth effects, apply as a base coat of SANO FILL paint, breathable acrylic-siloxane, high filling, waterproof, resistant to mold and algae growth.

For rustic or civil effects, apply as a base one of the thick coatings SILOX COAT 100/120 (anti-mold siloxane coating with a scraped effect) or SANO COAT 70 in two coats /100 /120 anti-mold acrylic-siloxane coating with a scraped effect.

A good result can be achieved by applying as a base a layer of "SEVEN" leveling filler with a civil finish, based on elasto-siloxane resins.

On a perfectly dry and aged surface, apply SILOX VEL, a breathable veiled finish, waterproof, resistant to mold and algae growth, based on siloxanes in aqueous emulsion, diluted up to a maximum of 25%. Depending on the desired effect, the product can be spread and finished using a sea sponge, sponge float, glove, or brush, in the latter case it is not recommended for rustic bases.
