How to intervene for the grouting and direct painting of a plasterboard surface?

PROBLEM

Whenever it is necessary to intervene in the grouting and subsequent painting of a plasterboard surface, avoiding total shaving.

SOLUTION

1. CYCLE:   carry out the grouting at più hands with KARTOFÜ LLER putty in powder for smooth finishes, drowning specific tape in gauze or paper. 

QUANTITÀ INDICATIVE OF MATERIAL PER SQM:   0.9 KG / SQM PER MM OF THICKNESS

2. After curing, sanding of the grouts in order to eliminate wrinkles and disconnections. Careful cleaning of the surfaces to the total elimination of any residual dust.

3. If the grouting is chalky or excessively absorbent, it is recommended to apply a coat of FIXACRIL , suitably diluted strong penetrating water-based fixative.
